Changes

We spend our days fighting change.  God say’s, ‘Enjoy the journey of change.’  Do not fear it but welcome it.

In our humanness, we need change.

We so easily attach ourselves to people, places and things that are not good for us.

If things did not change we would never move forward.

God uses change to grow us up.

He uses change to help us see our need for Him.

When sudden change comes it shakes us out of our complacency.  It moves us from a place of independence to a place of utter dependence upon the One who created us.

It is our fleshly, sin nature to live life independent and apart from God.

This way of living must be broken in our lives.  We must change our way of thinking.  We must change our way of living.

God always desires to change us for the better.  This is called transformation.  Change helps us to transform into who God wants us to be. 

Change pushes us forward when we have our heels stuck in the ground refusing to move and do something different. 

God uses change to purify, refine and break rebellion in us.

All of our life things are changing. 

Our bodies change, seasons change, circumstances change, culture changes, feelings change, and on and on it goes.  We cannot escape it.

If God did not allow change how would we ever learn to know and appreciate the One who never changes, the Lord God Almighty?

He is our Rock.

He is steady, consistent and stable.

He does not change His mind about loving us.

His goodness and mercy is unchanging throughout our entire life.

As we keep our mind and heart towards Him, we can learn to embrace all the changes that will inevitably come our way.
