This Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills fired head coach after three seasons, along with offensive coordinator Rob Ryan, his brother.
Rex Ryan will never coach in the NFL again; his playbook is filled with nothing but offensive and defensive schemes only suitable to the game as it was played in the 1980s. Ryan never has realized blitzing eight men doesn't stop a passing game like it used to; teams play with 5 wide receivers to throw a quick pass to.
His blind faith in running the ball may have cut it in 1985, but nowadays, it's about putting up points, not simply limiting mistakes and playing conservative football.
Unfortunately for him, he's had to learn this the hard way, and its a wake-up call for the rest of the League.
