Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a simple acupressure technique that also uses some self hypnosis. It is easy to learn and to use. It may be different to positive thinking approaches you have been recommended to try in the past but many of my clients have found it extremely effective.
I talk you through the technique and you can follow along. At the end you should find your anxiety has reduced. You can then continue to use EFT whenever you feel anxious. You should find that your anxiety will generally become less so after a while you are likely to need it less often.
