Put a Roof Over It
After a Tigers game was called on account of rain this past week, it's clear the game needs to make roofs on ballparks mandatory.
The owners should know rainouts rob their teams of potential wins...and rob them of a chance of seeing their franchises' value increase.
You'd think a smart businessman would know that.
Nowadays, stadiums can in fact, put grass in indoor facilities. That way, a club can avoid having players wind up on the DL and risking a rainout.
What's really sad about this situation is that pro baseball has an opportunity to save its game...and just might miss it continuing to cancel games because of weather.
Put...a roof...on Your parks...baseball!
