Croydon Animal Samaritans
Croydon Animal Samaritans have been helping and rescuing animals since 1974. We have many volunteers all working hard to rescue, foster and rehome all animals taken into our care. Contrary to what our name suggests we cover a wide area not just Croydon. Our name was originally 'Animal Samaritans' but changed to Croydon Animal Samaritans when we found that another group had started using the same name. We always have many animals that are desperately in need of loving homes, most of which you can find right here on the website. If you are not able to offer a home, you can still help by sponsoring any of the cats and dogs or feral cats who we are unable to home but who still need our care. Another important part of Croydon Animal Samaritans is the fundraising side of the charity. As well as an Open Day every Summer we also have a fund raising shop in Croydon, please see our News page. The charity relies totally on donations and fund raising to support the work we do. We also have several foster homes across Surrey and into London, so we cater for a huge area to rehome the many cats and dogs that we rescue.
